Our Mission
Inklings is the writing club of OLR, a place for students who love stories, poems, and creative expression to gather and share their work. Whether you are just starting to write or have been filling notebooks for years, the club is meant to be a welcoming space to grow as a writer.
Our members come together to read one another's pieces, offer thoughtful feedback, and encourage new ideas. We celebrate imagination, careful craft, and the courage it takes to put words on the page and share them with others.
Through poems, short stories, and other original writing, Inklings helps build a community of students who care about language and creativity. This site is a home for that work and a place to learn more about what we write, what we value, and how to submit your own piece.
